I’ve been having a thing for Givenchy makeup lately. And whenever I run out of a product, it is one of the first brands I look into.
My favourite BY TERRY Ligne Blackstar in So Black (here) dried out right before the wedding, which was very unexpected, and I was almost in a panic mode, to be honest. But I had to calm down and go shopping for a new eye liner (all the ones I had were not good enough).
It took a while to find the one I would like, as the photo above demonstrates. And Givenchy Liner Couture Precision Felt-tip Eyeliner was the one.
I really loved the applicator, it was elongated which made it very easy to apply the product. I find that it did not drag or pull the skin, and applied smoothly. It also lasted for the whole day on the big day, and I have been using it on a daily basis since November, and have been loving it ever since.
The only thing that I have to say is that it is not as black as some other liners and it does not look that intense over the eye shadows. But I do not always want that jet-black payoff.
Above is the photo of it compared with By Terry and Charlotte Tilbury. As you can tell, I love my high end eye liner, and that it because it is my ultimate makeup product (along with mascara) and most cheaper ones don’t deliver, quite frankly, there are just a few that I loved, and I did try a lot.
One more photo with the Givenchy liner being the last one.You can buy Givenchy beauty from Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Harrods, Sephora and Nordstrom, Escentual and Feel Unique.
The price is £26/$33
Speaking of Givenchy, I have almost used up my theBalm bronzer, which I am obsessed with, and I’ve heard raves about the Givenchy one, so maybe should get that one next. Because all the bronzers I have are not to die for.
