I think I take beauty tools for granted.
Makeup sponges, tweezers and brushes just seem to be on my makeup vanity, get used daily and do their job yet they don’t get enough credit. I mean, the right beauty tools make ALL the difference in a great makeup look.
One of my most recent beauty tool discoveries is a little sponge from JUNO & Co. and I am absolutely obsessed with it.
I know, how exciting can one little makeup sponge be? But the JUNO Microfiber Velvet Sponge — which sells for only $6 — is different and has completely changed the look of my makeup — for the better.
This little sponge is velvety-soft and was more so than I ever expected. It is made with super soft velvety microfiber bristles and microscopic fibers which is antimicrobial, too. The sponge holds liquid and cream products and smoothes it onto skin providing it the perfect blend and airbrushed finish.
When used properly, it doesn’t absorb much product. I actually find myself using less product (like liquid foundation and concealer) then I have when using other sponges.

The key is to really wetting the sponge by running it under water for a good five or six seconds and squeezing it out.
The original Microfiber Sponge comes in an egg shape with a slanted edge on one side that is perfect for a controlled and even application.
