Earlier this year Caudalie launched some new products, and as this is a brand I’ve always experienced excellent results with, I was really excited to give them a try. True story: as I was preparing my review, my daughter sent me her Christmas wish list (we do things pretty early around here) and I was amazed to see that she’s listed a few of today’s items; I consider that a pretty good endorsement for this brand — this generation knows, trust me.

Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser (CAN $37.00/150 ml) | Geared towards combination and oily skin types, the gel formula of this lightweight cleanser includes 100% Organic Grape Water (helps to visibly sooth skin and reduce redness), 100% Natural Salicylic Acid (to help unclog & tighten the appearance of pores), as well as Grape Polyphenols + Organic Essential Oil Complex (which act in an anti-bacterial manner to help diminish the look of blemishes). The texture feels cool to the touch and goes from gel to a soft foam upon contact with water, being easily rinsed off without leaving a tight feel behind. I’ve used this several times thus far I’m really liking it; for one, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling parched and more importantly, it definitely appears to help minimize the look of pores. With regards to my skin type, I prefer using this during the day as I find any makeup I apply on top looks much more even — I’ll stick to something more hydrating for evening, as I can use all the moisture I can get.
Vinopure Purifying Toner (CAN $34/200 ml) | A wonderful companion to the cleanser, this toner also contains Salicylic Acid, Grape Polyphenols, and Organic Essential Oils — all of which are excellent for use on combination and oily-prone complexions. Formulated without any synthetic fragrance, this toner is also wonderful at picking up any debris left behind by the cleanser, but more importantly, it serves to cleanse & purify the skin, visibly refine skin texture and tighten pores, and set the stage for the rest of your regimen to follow. Oh, and it smells absolutely fresh and green, becoming fully absorbed once applied without leaving residue behind.
Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum (CAN $59.00/30 ml) | Formulated with an even higher concentration of Salicylic Acid, Grape Seed Polyphenols, and Organic Essential Oils, this lightweight serum melts into the skin, leaving no sticky residue behind. Meant to help refine skin’s texture, the ingredients also work to help tighten the appearance of pores and thus visibly reduce the look of imperfections. Consistent use of this serum may also result in helping your complexion achieve a healthy glow — which is always a good thing, as far as I’m concerned.
Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream (CAN $75.00/50 ml) | Even though this product was not part of the new launches, it’s still relatively new in Caudalie’s lineup that was sent to me and I felt it worked well with the others shown today. Created with Glycolic Acid (an exfoliant and which helps with skin’s cellular turnover) along with Vine Sap Vineferine (a natural brightening agent that also has antioxidant properties), this cream is definitely meant for nighttime use and aims to: visibly restore radiance & luminosity, even skin tone’s appearance, smooth & refine skin texture, help tighten pores, and lastly, provide plenty of moisture. Safe even for those with sensitive skin, the time-release Glycolic Acid in the formula is said to provide up to 8 hours of continuous hydration. Containing no synthetic fragrance, the fresh light scent includes notes of Mandarin, Sweet Orange, Bergamot and Citrus Tree Bark.
Caudalie has a cult-fave following for a reason; the products deliver. I’ve tried several of this brand’s ranges to date and have been fully satisfied with them, and I’ve even experienced some truly amazing facials at several of their spa boutiques, so I feel fully confident in recommending their products to both friends & family. Also, I find that the pricing is pretty darn good too, which only sweetens the pot further, wouldn’t you say?
