Get buzzin’ with the Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette!

Urban Decay is out with one of the most luxe-looking Naked eyeshadow palettes yet…the Naked Honey Palette! This palette is dripping in opulent golden neutrals, in finishes and textures that are stunning. You’ll definitely want to pick this one up!

The buzz on the Naked Honey Palette is real…everything looks better in gold. It’s honestly a colorway that I hadn’t expected from Urban Decay…surprise! Doing the unexpected is exactly what Urban Decay does best. The Naked Honey Palette is an updated compilation of the warm eyeshadow trend, and in particular, the yellow eyeshadow trend. While other palettes are more one-dimensional (various shades of yellow), Urban Decay translates that into a spectrum, making the tones more universal.

There are 12 shades in the Naked Honey Palette, including (left to right):

  • Flyby (ivory satin)
  • Sweet (neutral beige matte)
  • Swarm (soft mustard matte)
  • Amber (metallic copper shimmer)
  • Keeper (mustard brown matte)
  • Golden (rich gold shimmer)
  • Honey (intense gold metallic)
  • Queen (golden brown shimmer)
  • Hive (warm brown matte)
  • Drip (warm reddish-brown matte)
  • HBIC (rosy bronze shimmer)
  • Sting (deep warm brown matte)

I was very pleased with the color payoff and pigmentation of the eyeshadows in this palette. The shades are buttery and very easy to blend. The shimmer and metallic finishes are luminous. I’ve come to expect long wear with Urban Decay and was not disappointed in the Naked Honey Palette–with or without primer, I had great wear time. The colors are so versatile, that like other Naked palettes, you can create endless looks.

Urban Decay has also given us great packaging with the Naked Honey Palette. The outside case is textured to highlight the shades of gold. On the inside, the amber and tortoise case really makes the eyeshadow shades pop. There is also a double-ended brush included.

The Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette ($49) is available in Sephora, ULTA, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and at urbandecaycosmetics.com. If you’re really obsessed, check out the Honey Drop Vault, which includes the Palette, a Honey Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Honey Lip Plumper, Honey Scented Sparkling Body Powder and Honey-Scented All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray!

Will you be adding to your Naked Palette addiction?
